Every year we advertise for local people to send us (usually by email) good quality photos that have been taken in and around Ipstones.  The deadline for sending in photos is the week after Ipstones show, i.e. the first week in September.

Once we have all of the entries, a panel selects the images that will be used in the next issue and a design is put together.

Calendars are designed internally and are printed and produced by October, ready for sale at an advertised launch event. This usually takes place in the Memorial Hall in October. Many people buy the calendar for themselves, but many are bought as Xmas/New Year gifts and are sent all over the world.

All profits from the sale of the calendars are donated to support other village charities, projects and events.

There is an opportunity for local businesses to advertise in the calendar at a cost of just £10. Please get in touch if you want to be considered. Not all can be represented, so it is a first come first served basis.

Last year £300 was given to St Leonards School, to fund a garden project and £300 to Ipstones Luncheon Club to help to provide transport. Just over £200 was donated this year to pay for the hosting/website domain for the Memorial Hall and there will be further donations to come.

Without your participation, we could not produce the calendar and we are always delighted to receive new entries. Please tell your friends in the village about the calendar, the more the merrier!
